The Board of Election Commissioners for the City of Chicago, which oversees one of the largest election operations in the United States with approximately 1.5 million registered voters in 2,069 precincts, is seeking an Executive Director.

The Executive Director (ED) serves as the chief administrator, providing leadership and implementing policies and programs to carry out the work of the Board. The ED directs an annual operating budget of approximately $34M and leads a staff of 130 full-time employees.

The Board of Election Commissioners is seeking U.S. citizens who are registered to vote in Cook County and who are qualified to serve as both Republican and Democratic Judges of Election and Election Coordinators in various Chicago precincts on Election Day. Additionally, the Board is in need of judges who are bilingual and fluent in:
