Chicago voters have two ways to cast ballots:
-1- the
paper ballot that the voter inserts in the ballot scanner (used on Election Day and for Vote By Mail), and,
-2- the
touchscreen that prints out a paper ballot that the voter inserts in a ballot scanner (used on Election Day and during Early Voting).
Click here for instructions on using both balloting systems.
Both balloting systems provide verifiable paper trails for all ballots cast.
